We were first introduced to Teairra Marí in 2005 courtesy of Jay-Z and Roc-a-Fella Records/Def Jam. The then 16-year-old Detroit vocalist crooned about having “No Daddy”, and posed the immortal question, “Are there any boys around that know how to make a girl feel?” Eight years later, Mari has developed into a woman both mentally and musically leaving childish pursuits behind.

Teairra Mari

Teairra Mari is an American singer-songwriter, actress, model and dancer. Born and raised in the motor city of Detroit, Teairra has been singing and entertaining since the age of 12. In October 2003, at the tender age of 16, she released her first album through Def Jam Records entitled "Get Away." Teairra has since released her sophomore album entitled, "Roc-A-Fella Presents: Teairra Mari", several mixed tapes and is working on the release of her third album, slated for Summer 2012. She is currently signed under Rico Love's Division1 imprint. Her new singled entitled "U Did That" is steadily climbing on the R&B Charts
